Adriano Ranieri, accordionist, bandoneonist, pianist,
was born in Lanciano, in the province of Chieti, on 14th April,
1977.
He began to play the Accordion privately with Master Pasquale De
Rosa, he was one of Master Claudio Calista's students and qualified
with the best mark in 1998 at the "N. Piccinni" Conservatory
of Music in Bari with Master Massimiliano Pitocco. In 1992 he started
playing the Piano with Master Marco Moresco. Moreover, he followed
courses of specialization with Masters Mogens Ellegaard (Danmark)
and Vladimir Zubitsky (Ukraine).
He got his degree in Piano in 1999 and in Theory of Musical Education
in 2003 at the "L. D'Annunzio" Conservatory of Music in
Pescara, where he actually attends the Composition Course with Master
Fabio Cellini.
He plays as a soloist, in chamber formations and
in important orchestras.
He collaborated with the Teatro Stabile "C. Goldoni" of
Venezia, for the theatrical work "Anonimo Veneziano" of
G. Berto, as a musician. He played with Teatro San Carlo Orchestra
of Napoli and with the Abruzzese Symphony Orchestra. He has collaborated
with important conductors such as Fabio Maestri, Marcello Panni,
Gary Bertini, Gennadi Rozhdestvensky and Nicola Piovani.
As accordionist with the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro San
Carlo of Napoli has taken part in the first worldwide absolute execution
of the lyric work in semiscenic version "Garibaldi en Sicile"
of Marcello Panni with the Elena Barbalich direction at the Teatro
San Carlo of Napoli.
He has kept concerts for the Italian Embassy in Nigeria and for
the Tianjin Conservatory of Music in China (the most ancient and
prestigious in China).
He featured in national TV shows (such as the broadcast named "Vent'anni"
on the second channel). He cooperated with Master Nicola Piovani
for the recording of a film sound-track.
He won 88 national and international accordion contests

In 1998 he won the prestigious Prize "Città di Castelfidardo"
for the best performance of a contemporary and original piece for
accordion.
He recorded for the "Musicomania editoriale"
recording company in Nepezzano (TE).
He worked in State Schools in musical activities
for Accordion, Piano and Musical Preliminary Study.
He is teacher of Accordion at the "L. Refice" Conservatory
of Music in Frosinone.
